Position: Network Analyst Level II

Job Description

Core Network Solutions is currently seeking motivated individuals eager to work as part of a network operations team. Successful applicants will deploy and operate data networks for mid-enterprise clients in Edmonton Alberta and area.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy IP WAN / LAN networks for mid-enterprise clients.
  • Firewall deployment and administration
  • Monitoring of client data network environments
  • Develop and maintain network schematics
  • Troubleshoot client networks

 

Skills

Qualifications:

  •  CCNP required – BCNE/BCNP preferred
  • Three to four years field experience
  • Knowledge of common routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Knowledge of RSTP and other loop prevention protocols
  • Ability to work independently

Experience with the following vendors would be considered an asset:

  • Cisco Routing/Switching/Security
  • Fortinet UTM appliances
  • Meru Wireless
  • Aruba Wireless
  • Brocade IP Networking
  • Netscout
  • Vmware
  • Sourcefire
